BEXLEYHEATH & Belvedere Hockey Club picked up their first win of the campaign with an emphatic demolition of Crawley.
David Humber got things under way when he found a gap in the Crawley defence after picking up possession on the edge of the D, turned well before slotting home under the Crawley keeper.
The advantage was quickly doubled after a huge gap on the left allowed BB’s new star player Yazu to make a 50 yard run from left back to pick the ball up in the D and fire in a powerful reverse strike for his third goal of the season.
But BB maintained their goal spree in the second half as Kevin King deflected a shot home from a short corner before Sam Ash added number four.
King completed the rout five minutes from time with the goal of the game, running the ball into the D and rocketing it into the goal off the crossbar.
