Week 4 of the winter season of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance saw the league’s youngest player & junior England international, Jordan O’Connor, in outstanding form.
In the MWS Premier Division Jordan won all three of his frames, including a spectacular last black potted off two cushions, during O’Connors B’s defeat to highly ranked Pickwick by 7-8 in frames.
The Hotshots have opened up a 4 point lead at the top of the table with a 10-5 in frames away win at The Fox Under The Hill.
New Eltham Social Club’s recorded their third 11-4 reversal of the season at home to O’Connors A with Naf Ayieko, Adam Everett, Adam Coppen & Craig Mallinder winning all of their frames.
We Anchor In Hope suddenly woke up after some indifferent results to demolish King William IV by 13-2 in frames with Dan Fenech, Paul Donohoe, Richie Mitchell & Tony Halpin all winning 3/3.
Riley’s Rovers racked up the same score away at Bellegrove Social Club with Jamie Kay, Steve Reed & Martin Wallace winning 3/3 including a spectacular 7 baller from Martin.
In the 180BETS.com First Division the Coach & Horses, for whom Ed Travers produced his third 3/3 in a row, made SLKPA history by recorded their second whitewash of the season with their 15-0 triumph over Gallies, Andre Cox, Robert Hearn, Luke Pritchard & Charlie Mehmet joining Ed on 3/3.
The Blue Anchor are 9 points behind league leaders the Coach & Horses despite their 8-7 in frames away win at the Anglesea Arms with James Westwood winning 3/3 for the Anchor.
Our Lady of the Rosary appear to be making their push for promotion with two impressive wins in succession taking them into third spot with this week’s win over Running Horses by 10-5 in frames.
The Summerfield have at last shown their true colours, saving face for me in the process as l tipped them for promotion, and are in mid table after their impressive victory over Lee Green Constitutional by 13-2 in frames.
Norbert Ndungu’s performance winning 2/2 for Riley’s Ramblers was in vein as they lost 6-9 in frames at home to debutant’s the White Hart.
