CRYSTAL Palace boss Neil Warnock has again flatly denied rumours that the Eagles have received any concrete bids for Victor Moses.

The latest speculation suggested Wigan were prepared to pay £4m for the striker and then loan him back – a suggestion which left Warnock bewildered.

He said: “I’ve been asked loads of times and I’m absolutely fed up of it, so I will ask you a question.

“If you were Wigan Athletic or any club outside the top four in the Premier League and you paid £4m for a player, would you give him back to us?

“If we got an offer of any sort we would discuss it with the chairman and everything, but we haven’t had an offer for him.

“We’ve had a couple of people enquire about him but there has been no offer at all.”

Moses has failed to start a league game since the opening day draw with Plymouth, something the manager puts down to his attitude since the transfer speculation began hotting up.

However, Warnock says there has been an improvement and he could be back in the thick of it soon.

He added: “I think he has come back a lot stronger. He is a bit disappointed that he hasn’t been in the team the last two away games but I’ve gone with people I can 100 percent trust.

“At the moment Victor is doing a lot better but I can’t 100 percent trust him, so I’m more likely to play him at home than away.”
