GREENWICH Park will provide the unlikely venue for a national pool competition in September.
Pub in the Park’ is a three-day festival will be celebrating the Great British pub and will play proud host to the finals of the national pool, darts, poker and band competitions.
Landlords are being urged to get involved by hosting qualifiers at their pubs.
They should enter their champion by visiting pubinthepark.com, or by calling 01959 567831. Each entry pack only costs £10 and you could be on your way to live Killer Pool finals at ‘Pub in the Park’ on September 19.
Regional heats will take place across the nation and the top eight players from across the heats will qualify for the live Killer Pool finals.
The overall champion will win a holiday for two in Malta in March 2010, along with being guests of honour at the 2010 European pool championships final in Daventry on February 19.
