A YOUNG boxer from Eltham ABC has landed a national title in Manchester.

Jenna O’Reilly, 13, defeated Triple A ABC’s Amber Gibbs in the 48kg class two national school girl championships.

The Beaverwood School pupil took up the noble art three years ago and it was perfect revenge for O’Reilly because she had lost on points to the same opponent last year.

O’Reilly is the first ever girl from Eltham ABC to win a national title and her plan is to fight again in September.

Her trainer Ryan Barrett said: “Jenna has a very bright future ahead of her.

“We all know she can all the way and keep winning titles.”
