ADDICKS coach Mark Kinsella has predicted a big turnover among Charlton’s playing squad after estimating that around 14 members of the current first-team ranks were out of contract this summer.
Among the players nearing the end of their deals are Zheng Zhi and Nicky Weaver.
TOM Soares has returned to Stoke City after his loan deal ended on Saturday.
The midfielder joined the Addicks for an initial month in January, a deal which was then extended until March 21, the day Charlton played Preston North End at home.
However, he was not included in Phil Parkinson's matchday 16 for the fixture with the Lilywhites.
The departure of Soares from SE7 gives the likes of Darren Ambrose, Lloyd Sam and Scott Wagstaff the chance to stake their claim for a regular first-team place between now and the end of the campaign.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old midfielder Josh Wright joined Gillingham on loan until the end of the season on Tuesday and could make his debut against former loan club Brentford this Saturday.
IZALE McLeod’s future at Millwall looks rosier after he was an unused substitute for the Lions in a 3-2 victory against Hartlepool United on Saturday.
The Addicks striker had been left out of the previous few squads following a disagreement with boss Kenny Jackett, but couldn’t return and play for Charlton under the terms of his loan.
Elsewhere, Stuart Fleetwood made his Exeter City debut on Saturday after signing on loan for the Grecians until the end of the season last Wednesday.

The defender needed stitches after a clash of heads and with just 10 minutes remaining, Phil Parkinson opted to replace him with Matt Holland.
Meanwhile, Dean Sinclair has been ruled out for six months after having an operation on a knee injury, but Jose Semedo was expected to return to training this week after his ankle problem.

CAMEROON international Rudolph Douala, recently on trial with Charlton, has signed a short-term contract with Plymouth Argyle.
The attacker impressed in reserve games for the Addicks, but manager Phil Parkinson said: “We wanted to sign him but the finances weren’t there to bring him in.”
ADDICKS youngsters Grant Basey and Jonjo Shelvey could both be in action for their countries this week.
Basey is seeking his first Wales under-21 cap in a 2011 European Championship qualifier against Luxembourg on Friday.
Shelvey is in Hungary with the England under-17 squad for the Elite qualifying round for the European Championships and starts their trio of fixtures against Portugal the same day.

A total of 41 clubs across The Football League received the award, which recognises the outstanding experience they provide for young fans and families at their grounds.
