A FIGHTER from Keddles Gym in St Mary's Cray is celebrating being crowned world champion at the Muay Thai Legends contest at Croydon on Saturday.
Orpington's Bernise Alldis, 19, is now the only female British WMC champion after overcoming Maria Verheijen in the 57kg category, a result which sent the huge Keddles contingent in the Fairfield Halls crowd into raptures.
Earlier, 22-year-old Adam Lee from Bromley enjoyed victory in the prestigious area title fight, a result which will allow him to have a crack at the British title.
And Orpington's Rob Storey, 35, is on course for the world title after needing only one round to beat Belgium's Chris Heyneman in the international prestige fight.
