Palace have the chance to win their fourth game in a row under Roy Hodgson on Saturday (April 22), which would take them 12 points clear of the relegation zone.

The Eagles have been in fine form recently, but will face an Everton side desperate for points amid the Toffees' fight to avoid relegation.

Palace have seven games remaining in the league, with a match against Wolves coming just three days after the clash with Everton.

So with all that in mind, here’s the likely side that Roy Hodgson will select on Saturday.

Formation: 4-3-3

Goalkeeper: Sam Johnstone

Defence: Joel Ward, Joachim Anderson, Marc Guehi, Tyrick Mitchell

Midfield: Jeffrey Schlupp, Cheick Doucoure, Eberechi Eze

Attack: Michael Olise, Odsonne Edouard, Jordan Ayew

Sam Johnstone

Although Vicente Guaita has been making ‘good progress’ on his return from injury, according to Roy Hodgson, Johnstone has only conceded two goals in Palace’s last three games. With the great run of form The Eagles have been on, it would be very harsh to drop Johnstone after performing so well, even if Guaita is fit enough to play.

Joel Ward

With Nathaniel Clyne out injured, it’s more than likely that Ward will be the starting right back for Palace on Saturday.

Joachim Anderson

One of the first names on the Palace team sheet, Anderson is almost guaranteed to start where he has been for the majority of the season.

Marc Guehi

Similar to Anderson, Guehi is one of The Eagles' outstanding players and will be expected to start in the Palace backline.

Tyrick Mitchell

Palace’s recent good form has seen the best of Tyrick Mitchell once again. Palace don’t exactly have a left back that could challenge Mitchell for his spot at the moment, but even if they did, his form would likely keep them out of the side anyway.

MORE PALACE NEWS

Jeffrey Schlupp

The Ghanian has started the last six Palace games, and is likely to keep his place in the side following The Eagles’ three-game winning streak.

Cheick Doucoure

Palace’s £21 million summer signing has nailed down a starting position in the first team and is expected to keep that trend going in Saturday’s game.

Eberechi Eze

Following his man of the match performance last time out, Eze is probably the first name on the team sheet for Palace at the moment. According to whoscored.com, Eze has been Palace’s best performer all season (only counting players that have played over two matches) and he’ll be looking to show why at the weekend.

Michael Olise

Like Eze, Olise is currently one of Palace’s most important players, and will definitely be on the team sheet if fit. Olise is top of the Crystal Palace assist charts this season with eight assists, five more than second placed Cheick Doucoure.

Odsonne Edouard

Edouard has led the line in the last three Palace games, and he’ll be looking to add to his tally against the side who have conceded the sixth most goals in the league.

Jordan Ayew

With Zaha still injured, Ayew has done a great job at filling in for the Palace star man. Ayew has scored two goals in his last two games, and based off the results alone, he’s helping Eagles fans forget they've lost their talisman to injury, which is no small feat.
