BEXLEY RFC under-10s lifted the four-team trophy for the Good Friday competition held at Dartfordians.

They finished ahead of Italian visitors Modena despite both sides having won two and lost one of their three games.

Bexley gained top spot on account of a victory in their meeting with the Italians, with hosts Dartfordians finishing third ahead of Beccehamians.

The tournament was a huge success and Dartfordians are considering taking up the offer to make the return trip next year.

Meanwhile, training sessions for all age groups are still open at Dartfordians before the season ends.

Junior rugby, which is open to under-13s to under-17s, and midi and mini rugby, which is open to under-sevens to under-12s, takes place on Sunday mornings from 10am to 12.30pm at the club's Bourne Road ground.

Parents wishing to bring their boys or girls along are advised first to phone the junior rugby chairman Colin Lovett on 07831 454210, or mini rugby chairman Neil Cooksley on 07944-051568.
