THERE are new leaders in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Premier Division after this week's round of matches on Thursday.
With Hotshots having a week off, The George IV A took the opportunity to leapfrog them into top spot with a 10-5 victory at home to The Blue Anchor A.
They now have a seven-point lead with just three more games to go until the end of the season.
The Pickwick made heavy going of it in their home win against lowly Summerfield to remain third.
Ash Hall hauled his team to an 8-7 success by winning three frames, despite the best efforts of Summerfield's Ben Beever with his impressive clearance in his first rack.
It was a similar story at The Jolly Fenman as fourth-placed Our Lady of the Rosary sneaked past their opponents 8-7.
Paul Donohoe of The Jolly Fenman won all three of his games, but couldn't prevent Our Lady winning the last four frames to clinch a come from behind win.
In the First Division, top played second and The Woolwich Catholic Club B, inspired by a great team performance against The Fox Under the Hill, remain at the summit after an 11-4 victory.
The Beehive took advantage of The Fox Under The Hill's defeat to move into second spot and an automatic promotion place.
Tony Frost, Dan Murphy and Andy Wise all recorded maximums in their 11-4 win, while The George IV B kept alive their faint hopes of Premier Division pool next season with a 10-5 win away at The Blue Anchor B.
New teams are always welcome into the league with the window now open for recruitment into the summer season.
