Liverpool are planning to make a £15m bid for ex-Charlton goalkeeper Nick Pope, according to reports.
Pope’s 35 league appearances helped Burnley finish seventh last season.
His impressive form saw him included in Gareth Southgate’s 23-man England squad for this month’s World Cup.
He made his Three Lions debut in their 2-0 win over Costa Rica last week.
Now, The Sun claims Pope is on Liverpool’s radar.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wants a new no1 after losing faith with Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.
It’s been a meteoric rise for Pope, who left Charlton for Burnley in 2016.
He played just 38 times during a five-year spell at the Valley, and only established himself as the Addicks’ first-choice goalkeeper halfway through his final season with the club.
