Nicky Ajose says Shrewsbury “could fold” if Charlton score in their play-off semi-final second leg.
A 1-0 win for the Addicks at New Meadow would take the tie to extra time. The Shrews hold a one-goal lead thanks to Jon Nolan’s superb strike on Thursday.
And Ajose thinks a Charlton goal will rock Shrewsbury.
“If we go there and get a goal then we believe they could fold,” the striker said.
“What better way to get to Wembley than beating them in their back yard - that would give us so much confidence going forward.
“We were always in the mindset that we’d have to go there and score and we are excited for the challenge.
“Two months ago after being beaten at home by Oxford, if you had said ‘you’re going to go into a play-off semi-final a goal down’ we’d have snapped your hand off. Now, we need to go again.
“We’re really positive in the dressing room and we’re excited because we want to celebrate getting to Wembley on their patch.”

Charlton beat Shrewsbury 2-0 in Shropshire less than a month ago. It was a defining moment in their season as they finished sixth.
Despite being a goal down heading into the second leg, Ajose does not think Charlton are underdogs.
“No, not at all. We beat them away, they beat us at home [in the regular season],” he added.
“We know who Shrewsbury are - they are strong, combative and hardworking and we’ve just got to match that.
“We matched it on Thursday but we didn’t play on the ball as well as we should’ve done.
“We were maybe a bit edgy but we have had a taster now and on Sunday we need to take the shackles off and win the game.”
