Second-half goals from Ryan Sessegnon, Kevin McDonald and Aleksander Mitrovic handed Millwall their first Championship defeat since New Year’s Day and moved Fulham into the top two.

The Lions dominated the first-half in terms of chances, but Jake Cooper struck the bar from a header and Jed Wallace had an effort cleared off the line.

The Whites then struck twice times in 11 second-half minutes before Mitrovic curled home a third to ensure the points headed back to west London.

Jordan Archer – 4 – A night to forget. Didn’t get enough on his Mitrovic’s shot for Fulham’s first goal and parried straight into Ryan Sessegnon’s path and should have saved McDonald’s but went with the wrong hand.

Mahlon Romeo - 5 – Struggled early on with Sessengon’s frightening pace and was caught out on more than one occasion. One of the toughest evenings he has endured all season.

Shaun Hutchinson - 6 – Not one of his better performances and his second-half booking summed up his evening.

Jake Cooper - 6 – Should have put Millwall ahead in the first few minutes but his header crashed the bar after a fine save from Marcus Bettenelli. Made a crucial intervention to stop Mitrovic from putting Fulham ahead.

James Meredith - 7 – Not much of an attacking threat but defensively solid as always.

Jed Wallace - 6 – Had a golden chance to help himself to his seventh Championship goal of the season, but had his close-range effort cleared off the line from Tim Ream. Had some other bright moments, but his crossing let him down on a few occasions.

Shaun Williams – 5 – Went close with a crisply struck shot in the second-half, but it was straight at Marcus Bettenelli. Tried to get Millwall up the pitch as much as he could but was caught in possession far too often.

George Saville – 5 – Thought he had put Millwall ahead, but his close-range effort was harshly disallowed for a foul on Matt Targett. Quiet, other than that.

Ben Marshall – 7 – His delivery was sensational. Put over three dangerous crosses in the first-half, that Morison, Cooper and Gregory were unable to convert from. Hauled off after 65 minutes as Millwall switched to a 4-3-3. Man of the match.

Steve Morison - 5 – Struggled to get into the game. Should have set up Gregory for the opener, but his cross was too high for his strike-partner.

Lee Gregory – 6 – Frustrating night. Had one half-chance in the first-half, but the bounce of the ball was unkind, and the opportunity passed him.
