Tariqe Fosu, Ahmed Kashi and Naby Sarr could be in contention for Charlton’s trip to Shrewsbury on Tuesday.
Fosu (groin) and Kashi (foot) have been regular starters for the Addicks this season, while Sarr (ankle) has made 25 appearances.
Saturday’s promotion six-pointer against Scunthorpe comes too soon for the trio, but they are set to resume training on Sunday.
Charlton caretaker boss Lee Bowyer told News Shopper: “They won't be fit for the Scunthorpe game.
“But with the lads I have got available, there’s no reason why that’s not a strong enough squad to go and win on Saturday, whether I make changes or not.
“Kashi, Naby Sarr and Tariqe might be training on Sunday. I wish I could see into the future but I can’t.
“Hopefully they’ll get through Sunday, they are going to be doing little bits themselves now with the medical staff. If they get through Sunday, they’ll be in contention for Tuesday.”
Charlton are in the play-off places on goal difference with five games to go.
