Aiden O’Brien featured for Millwall’s Under-23s side against QPR on Monday.
The forward has not played for the senior team since scoring in the 4-3 win at Leeds in January.
An ankle injury has sidelined him for the past two months, however, he returned to first-team training last week.
And O’Brien got a run out yesterday as Millwall’s U23s drew 1-1 with QPR. He was substituted in the second-half.
Other first-teamers such as David Martin, Harry Toffolo, Ben Thompson, Shane Ferguson, Fred Onyedinma and Tom Elliott were given valuable minutes.
O’Brien could be in the matchday squad for Millwall’s trip to relegation-threatened Barnsley on Saturday. The Lions are looking to extend their unbeaten league run to 12 games.
