Charlton’s game against AFC Wimbledon tomorrow has been called off due to a frozen pitch.

Heavy snow has hit the UK this week putting Football League games at serious risk.

And following a midday pitch inspection at Kingsmeadow, a decision was made to postpone the match.

It is the second time in just over a month that the Addicks have had a game postponed because of the pitch.

Blackpool’s playing surface was deemed unplayable when Charlton made the trip up north in January.

With the Addicks’ game against Plymouth unlikely to go ahead later this month due to international call-ups, it means Karl Robinson’s side could have four midweek fixtures to play between now and the end of the season.
