Charlton midfielder Ben Reeves is set to return to the Charlton squad for the MK Dons trip.

Reeves left the Valley before the midweek draw with Bradford after his partner was taken to hospital.

But he is back with the squad and Karl Robinson has no hesitation in playing him against his former club on Saturday.

The Addicks boss told News Shopper: “He was in the squad for the Bradford game. He got a phone call at about 6.45pm saying his missus had been taken to hospital with an issue.

“He was going to stay and play but the players said he had to go. He was still phoning us at 7.30pm saying he’d be back for half-time.

“The doctor came to me at half-time and said Reevesy is still trying to get here and get on the bench.

“The tests on his missus took a lot longer than he thought they would and he got home in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

“But he’ll be training today. He’s in the right frame of mind for Saturday, 100 per cent.”

Charlton are expected to be without Jason Pearce and Naby Sarr this weekend, despite the pair returning to first-team training.
