Neil Harris says some of Millwall’s youngsters could leave on loan before the transfer window shuts.
Tom King and Sid Nelson have made temporary moves away from the Den this month.
The Lions are yet to add to their squad and boss Harris has ruled out any first-team departures.
When asked if there could be any more outgoings, Harris told News Shopper: “Yeah, possibly, especially the younger players.
“The window is unbelievably difficult. There’s huge frustration in it. It’s a real strange period for us because in previous windows we've been able to get business done early, like last summer. It was an insight of how I wanted to work.
“This one has been the most difficult during my time in charge because players that were available aren't and players we think are available become unavailable. It’s made it really tough.
“You always talk about standards of players to help us improve. It’s very difficult to lower your standards.
“At the moment, we’re finding that players who can really benefit us are not forthcoming in availability.
“So I‘ve been extremely patient, I’ve been very, very close to players. We’ve got to continue working as a group to try to bring in the right calibre.”
