Jake Forster-Caskey’s brace saw Charlton come from behind to beat Rochdale 2-1 at the Valley.

Matthew Gillam’s 13th-minute opener shocked the Addicks.

But Forster-Caskey’s goals were enough to extend their unbeaten league run to nine games.

Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…

Ben Amos - 8 – Made a fantastic save to deny Ian Henderson just before Charlton took the lead and another one five minutes from time.

Chris Solly - 6 – Defended well like he always does - didn’t get forward too much.

Ezri Konsa – 5 – He was bullied by Rochdale’s big centre-forward Calvin Andrew throughout the evening. However, it’s another learning curve for the youngster.

Naby Sarr – 6 – Did not look like his comfortable self in the first-half, but improved as the game went on.

Jay Dasilva – 5 – Rochdale hit the post after the Chelsea loanee was outmuscled in his own box. The visitors seemed to target him.

Ahmed Kashi – 7 – A better showing from the midfield enforcer, who kept Charlton ticking.

Jake Forster-Caskey – 9 – A second brace of the season for the former Brighton man. He is one of the first names on the team sheet. Man of the match.

Mark Marshall – 7 – Put in some dangerous crosses and looked very threatening on the right wing.

Ben Reeves – 4 – Subbed off at half-time after a poor showing.

Ricky Holmes – 6 – A couple of silky dribbles, but had a quiet game by his standards.

Josh Magennis – 6 – Looked isolated at times and was tamed by Rochdale’s solid defence.
