Millwall boss Neil Harris believes Hull should be near the top six.

The Tigers, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, are just four points above the drop zone.

And despite Leonid Slutsky’s men winning just once on the road in 15 months, Harris insists Hull are favourites for tomorrow’s encounter at the Den.

He told News Shopper: “We haven't won an away game this season. We’re the underdogs in every away game. We’re not expected to win.

“Hull coming to the Den should come as favourites because of the budget they've got and the transfer fees they've spent - running into 20, 30 million pounds.

“They should be near the top six. They're a very good footballing side, they make a lot of passes, not quite as much as Reading, but they won’t be too far behind.

“We’ll have to be patient in our process to get the ball but we also know we can hurt them going forward. We have to make sure we defend really well and be clinical when we get chances.

“All their players played in the Premier League last year for Hull or their parent club. You don't have three boys on loan from Chelsea and expect to struggle.

“So we know it’s a tough ask but it’s a game we’re really looking forward to on the back of the game against Burton where we felt we were cheated out of three points.”

There is unrest at Hull with fans protesting against unpopular owner Assem Allam.

Millwall secured a point against basement boys Sunderland on Saturday, and could prey on Hull’s lack of confidence.

Harris added: “Confidence is a big thing - the first goal will be important tomorrow night.

“When you're playing at home, you want to be in front and build on it.

“But as we've shown already, we can go behind and come back so the first goal is key in games because you're not giving yourself a mountain to climb.

“I just know we've got to be really disciplined and be aggressive. It’s been two-and-a-half weeks since the Burton game - it was disappointing but we've got the chance to put it right.”
