Charlton beat Doncaster 1-0 at the Valley thanks to Tariqe Fosu’s fifth goal in three games.

Donny had chances to equalise, most notably when Alfie May hit the crossbar, but the Addicks just did enough to hold on.

Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…

Ben Amos - 6 - Made a couple of routine saves to thwart Doncaster in the first-half. His distribution needs to improve.

Chris Solly - 6 - No one got past him. He is forming a good partnership with Billy Clarke on the right wing.

Ezri Konsa - 7 - Very good on the ball and kept John Marquis quiet. His good form continues since replacing the injured Jason Pearce last month.

Patrick Bauer - 7 - Similarly to Konsa, Bauer was solid at the back.

Jay Dasilva - 7 - Another assist for the youngster. And he nearly got another one after his 50—yard burst forward set up Ricky Holmes.

Ahmed Kashi - 7 - Typically brilliant yet again. Cut out everything that came his way, and almost scored in the second-half.

Jake Forster-Caskey - 5 - Didn't really do too much to affect the game. Lost the ball a couple of times, too.

Billy Clarke - 6 - Playing out of position again and struggled in the early stages of the game. But grew into it more in the second-half.

Ricky Holmes - 6 - He’ll have better days. His dribbling was impressive - should’ve scored in the first-half.

Tariqe Fosu - 8 - Another game, another Fosu goal. His all-round performance was terrific. Man of the match.

Josh Magennis - 6 - Had two goal-bound shots blocked, and was a handful for the Doncaster defence.
