A late Matt Smith leveller left ten-man Millwall heartbroken after surrendering a two-goal lead against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.

Conor McLaughlin and Jed Wallace gave the Lions a 2-0 lead, but Massimo Luongo and Smith struck to ensure that the points were shared in west London.

Here is how News Shopper rated Millwall's players ...

Jordan Archer - 8 - Made a smart stop to deny Freeman during the first-half and that set the tone for a super evening. He saved well from Massimo Luongo and then seconds later made an even better stop from his 25-yard drive. Was helpless for both goals, although he did get a hand to Smith’s.

Conor McLaughlin - 8 - Seems to get better by the week. A constant threat down the right, with a sublime opening goal to match his performance.

Shaun Hutchinson - 7 - Threw his body on the line, making block after block and deserved to be on the winning side.

Byron Webster - 7 - Just like Hutchinson, did everything to prevent QPR levelling, but was helpless for Smith’s late strike.

James Meredith - 7 - Solid as ever. Made serveral blocks and clearances to keep QPR at bay.

Shane Ferguson - 6 - Didn’t have it all his own way going forward, but worked extremely hard in helping Meredith defensively. His set-pieces were superb, and if it wasn’t for some poor finishing then he would have claimed an assist.

Shaun Williams - 7 - Controlled the middle of the pitch. Broke up play on countless occasions to set Gregory and Morison, and it was his fine pass that set up Wallace for Millwall’s second.

George Saville - 7 - His ability to win the ball back is outstanding. Should have helped himself to his third goal of the season, but his tame header was pushed away.

Jed Wallace - 7 - Had a quiet first-half, but burst into life just five minutes into the second. His devastating finish put Millwall two up.

Lee Gregory - 5 - Was causing the QPR defence all sorts of problems during the first-half, but ultimately cost his side the game with a needless tackle just before the break.

Steve Morison - 7 - Him and Gregory worked well until his strike partner was sent off. Unlucky not to open his account for the season after his 40-yard volley went just wide. Struggled without Gregory in the second-half, though.
