Andrew Crofts has left Charlton by mutual consent.
Crofts, 33, made 54 appearances for the Addicks after joining the club last summer.
Charlton boss Karl Robinson confirmed the former Brighton man’s departure in his press conference this morning.
Crofts was behind Ahmed Kashi, Jake Forster-Caskey and Joe Aribo in the pecking order at the Valley.
He started just two cup games this season, while coming off the bench as a late substitute in Charlton’s opening day win over Bristol Rovers.
Robinson revealed no direct replacement is lined up for the veteran, who is set to join a new club soon.
