Charlton cruised to a 2-0 win against Crawley in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Ben Reeves and George Lapslie were on target to net their first goals for the club.

Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…

Dillon Phillips - 6 - Pulled off a stunning save to prevent an Aaron Barnes own goal in the 19th-minute. His distribution could’ve been better, but was dominant between the sticks.

Anfernee Dijksteel - 6 - Never really troubled and dealt with his winger comfortably.

Ezri Konsa - 7 - Loves to bring the ball out from the back, and uses it well. Made an important block to deny Ibrahim Meite from close-range in the second-half.

Naby Sarr - 8 - His long-range passing is magnificent. Two chances were created thanks to Sarr’s impeccable vision. He is probably the best fourth-choice centre-half in League One.

Aaron Barnes - 6 - A few balls were played in behind him a couple of times, however, a solid enough performance from the full-back.

Andrew Crofts - 7 - Used the ball smartly and won it back on countless occasions. A tidy display from the Welshman.

Joe Aribo - 6 - In a more deeper role than usual, Aribo’s strong, powerful presence in midfield helped the Addicks dominate possession.

Regan Charles-Cook - 6 - Playing out of position on the wing, Charles-Cook worked hard but struggled with his end product.

Ben Reeves - 8 - Charlton’s most dangerous player on the night. Took his goal really well and never wasted the ball in the final third. His performance will have fans licking their lips - and the best thing is - he’s not even fully fit yet. Man of the match.

Karlan Ahearne-Grant - 7 - Always looked a threat to Crawley’s defence with his unpredictability running down the line and cutting in from the left. It’s clear that he’s playing with confidence.

Reeco Hackett-Fairchild - 6 - Never really had any opportunities in front of goal. His hold-up play was impressive, though, for such a young striker.
