David Worrall has had his Millwall contract terminated by mutual consent.
Worrall, 27, joined the Lions last summer and helped the club win promotion to the Championship.
But the winger started just 14 league games under Millwall boss Neil Harris and was pushed further down the pecking order with the arrival of Jed Wallace.
His last appearance for the club came in their 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Stevenage on August 8.
Harris said: “David has been a fantastic professional during his time with us.
“He has always worked incredibly hard, has a brilliant attitude and he played a crucial role in what was a memorable season for us last year.
“We wish him all the very best for what I’m certain will be a bright and successful career.”
