Karl Robinson is battling old club MK Dons to sign Leeds striker Lee Erwin, according to reports.

Erwin, 22, scored eight goals in a loan spell at Oldham last season.

TEAMtalk says Leeds are prepared to let the former Motherwell forward leave for free, but with a sell-on clause.

And it has alerted Charlton and MK Dons, with League One rivals Walsall, Oldham and Portsmouth said to be interested.

Erwin joined Leeds on a three-year deal in 2015, but has only made 11 league appearances.

The Scot would add more competition to an already competitive Addicks frontline.

Valley chief Robinson has strikers Josh Magennis, Tony Watt, Lee Novak and Nicky Ajose fighting for first-team places.
