Southend ace Ryan Leonard wants to play Championship football amid interest from Millwall.
Championship trio Millwall, Bolton and Sheffield United have had bids rejected for the midfielder.
And Leonard’s agent Peter Conning has said that the 25-year-old is keen to end his six-year stay at Roots Hall.

He told Echo News: “Ryan has not submitted a transfer request at this stage but he would certainly like to play at a higher level and move on from Southend.
“He would welcome the chance to step up to the Championship and the club are being offered good money so it would seem to make good financial sense too.”
