Fred Onyedinma has made a decision on his Millwall future - but won’t reveal anything yet.

Onyedinma, who played 54 times for the Lions last season, is out of contract in the summer.

The 20-year-old winger is a Millwall academy product, and has been linked with QPR, Watford and Hull.

When asked about his future after the Lions’ League One play-off final win over Bradford, Onyedinma said: “I can’t really say anything, but I’ve made a decision. That’s all I can say.

“We’ll have to wait and see next month. I’m just happy now to celebrate with the team, because it’s been a team effort.

“It’s been difficult for me, not playing so much, but the most important thing, especially towards the end of the season, is promotion. You can’t just think of yourself.

“There’s always next season. You just have to support the team and play your part.”

Onyedinma failed to nail down a regular starting place in Neil Harris’ side last term, scoring just six goals.

He was only 17 years old when he broke into the Millwall first-team in January 2014.

The club were playing Championship football at the time - and Onyedinma believes that is where they belong.

He added: “We’ve been in the Championship before. I made my debut when we were in that league.

“That’s where we belong. From the Championship we can push on and see what happens.”
