Crystal Palace are the only club in London to field English players for the majority of their games in the Premier League so far this season.
The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) has collated the proportion of minutes European clubs have given to domestic players.
The study reveals Chelsea have fielded English players for just 16 per cent of their Premier League game-time so far during the 2016/17 campaign.
The Blues’ record is the second lowest tally in the top-flight, behind only Watford on nine per cent.
Bournemouth lead the way with an overwhelming 81 per cent, while Burnley (62 per cent) and Palace (53 per cent) also feature prominently on the table.
