Burnley hope to strike a deal with Crystal Palace this summer for midfielder Lee Chung-yong, according to reports.

Lee has struggled to establish himself at Selhurst Park since signing from Bolton in January 2015 and only played 17 games for Palace last season.

The South Korea international was fined by Alan Pardew earlier in the year after claiming the boss had made “absurd” selections.

Burnley are looking to bolster their squad ahead of the new season and want to secure the services of 28-year-old Lee, according to the Guardian.

It is claimed Lee would cost last season’s Championship champions around £1m.
