Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and Swansea are both interested in signing Sassuolo forward Gregoire Defrel, reports say.
Both clubs are hoping to bolster their squads this summer in order to improve on their bottom-half finishes in the league last season.
Palace only netted 39 goals during the entire campaign and a dire slip in form almost saw the Eagles creep into a relegation battle.
According to Italian outlet Gazetta dello Sport – as reported by Inside Futbol – Alan Pardew’s side are tracking Defrel ahead of a potential move.
The French-born forward made 35 appearances for Serie A club Sassuolo last season, scoring seven goals and producing several assists.
And the 24-year-old’s performances have also reportedly attracted attention from Swansea, who recorded seven points from their final three games of the season against West Ham, Liverpool and Manchester City to finish 12th.
A product of Parma’s academy system, Defrel joined Sassuolo from Cesena last summer.
