Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that young star Serge Gnabry is set for a loan spell at a Championship club.
The 20-year-old, who signed on loan for West Brom at the start of the season, has been tracked by Charlton who hope to secure his signature short-term, News Shopper understands.
The Addicks, currently second-bottom of the league after a poor run, hope to bolster their squad on deadline day.
When asked about another loan move for Gnabry, Wenger said: “Yes but to a Championship club.
“We have to decide that today so I know [where he is heading] approximately. I want to give him some competition like I did with Francis Coquelin last year and if possible call him back.”
