Crystal Palace have signed former Tottenham and Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old was believed to be undergoing his medical at Palace’s training ground in Beckenham earlier today ahead of the move.
Adebayor was a free agent following his release from Spurs in September - but had been maintaining his fitness and hoped to revitalise his career at another Premier League club.
The Eagles will be hoping Adebayor, who scored 18 league goals for Tottenham, can provide some much-needed threat in the final third.
The club have endured a severe goal drought in recent weeks - failing to score in four straight league games before the own goal against Tottenham at the weekend.
