Alan Pardew hopes Crystal Palace can seal a transfer move for Fulham forward Moussa Dembele despite significant interest from Manchester United, reports say.

Dembele, 19, has attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs after an impressive run for Championship side Fulham.

Man United and Tottenham are both thought to be very interested in a move for the France U20 star, who has played 23 league games this season.

However, the Daily Mirror say that Palace are also weighing up a move for Dembele, whose contract at Craven Cottage runs out next summer, and could tempt him to make a move to south London.

Dembele is expected to leave Fulham this month for a free in the region of £6m.

Both United and Palace have faced problems in front of goal this season and are in the market to bolster their attacking options.
