Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew would be the best managerial appointment since Sir Alex Ferguson, according to a disgruntled Manchester United fan.
United’s goalless draw against West Ham on Saturday was their fifth 0-0 in six games in all competitions.
United’s form, which has seen them drop to fourth in the Premier League table and be knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Middlesbrough, has resulted in many supporters turning against manager Louis van Gaal.

Usual suspects including Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti have been raised as potential successors to the Dutch boss, but an angry United fan told BBC 606 that Pardew would be the ideal replacement.
United supporter David said: “I think Alan Pardew – I repeat Alan Pardew – would be the best appointment for Man United since Alex Ferguson.
“He’s a top manager, he’s been through all the rough rides and he’s proved us all wrong every single time and for that reason I can see that happening.”
