England boss Roy Hodgson is monitoring Wilfried Zaha closely and is considering offering the Crystal Palace star a second chance with England, according to reports.

Zaha, 23, earned two international appearances in 2012 but has since been overlooked by the national selectors.

The former Manchester United winger, who completed a return to Selhurst Park earlier this year after a wretched two years at Old Trafford, made his debut for England against Sweden after a productive run for the Eagles.

Zaha has enjoyed an upturn in form this season, scoring three goals in 18 appearances for the South Londoners, and could still feature in England’s Euro 2016 squad, according to The Sun.

It is claimed selectors are monitoring the winger closely, although Hodgson recently snubbed Zaha and opted to call-up United’s Jesse Lingard when his squad was disturbed by injury ahead of the friendly against France.
