A substantial number of Charlton Athletic fans took to social media this evening to send a message to the club’s hierarchy.
The Spell it Out in Black and White campaign organised the display, which took off at 6pm, ahead of another protest organised before the match against Ipswich.
The Twitter Storm was planned on the back of comments made by club chief executive Katrien Meire.
At the recent fans’ meeting, held at the Valley, Meire stated that it was only 2 percent of fans who were dissatisfied with how the club was being run.
Here’s how the Twitter demonstration unfolded:
Are you part of the two percent of fans who are dissatisfied? State why using #ImTheTwoPercent because ... #cafc pic.twitter.com/98BBUd0Knb
