Charlton striker Igor Vetokele appears to be finally overcoming his injury problems and could return to the first-team squad in the next couple of weeks, News Shopper understands.
The Angola international, who joined the Addicks last summer in a deal worth £2.4m from Copenhagen, enjoyed a productive start to his career at the Valley.
However, since his efforts last season Vetokele’s performances have been marred by ongoing injury problems.

The 23-year-old has made just five appearances this term and most recently suffered from a groin injury.
News Shopper understands that Vetokele is now nearing a return and is back taking part in at least aspects of first-team training as he looks to improve his fitness.
The striker’s visit to a specialist went well and he could return in a couple of weeks, although the club are eager to prevent further injury by bringing him back too soon.
