Crystal Palace’s Yohan Cabaye entered the record books for his performance against West Ham on Saturday after scoring a penalty in his third successive Premier League appearance.
The French midfielder, 29, has been in superb form for the Eagles this season and has been ruthless from the spot.
Cabaye, who signed for Palace in the summer from French giants Paris Saint-Germain, scored a first-half penalty to cancel out Carl Jenkinson’s opener at Selhurst Park.
And the goal ensured the former Newcastle star became only the fourth player in Premier League history to score a penalty in three successive league games.

Cabaye joined Ian Wright (1994), Ruud van Nistelrooy (2003) and Michael Owen (2003) in the limited list of players to have achieved the feat, Opta stats reveal.

The midfielder’s penalty followed goals against West Brom and Watford, but was not enough to avoid defeat to the Hammers, who triumphed 3-1 after scoring two late goals.
