Neil Harris knows Millwall must collect all three points at Blackburn this evening if they are to pull off a great escape.

The Lions travel travel to Lancashire for a second away fixture in four days after Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Cardiff.

Blackburn is Millwall’s penultimate away match and Harris knows it is now win or bust if his side are to get out of the Championship bottom three.

He said: “We are running out of games.

“We know we have to win games of football and I think the teams above us need to win - we are showing our capability to win games.

“I think we’ve had some good results as of late, but we are where we are because of results over the last 43 games.

“The league table never lies so we need to find some wins, but so often teams do at the end of the season and we have to take heart from that.

“We need a couple of wins, definitely, and we have three games to do it.”

Millwall head to Ewood Park still uncertain of what the outcome will be in a hearing regarding Rotherham United fielding an ineligible player, a potential punishment which could see the Yorkshire side deducted points.

Harris said: “We go again Tuesday.

“We go to a very good Blackburn team trying to win a game of football, so whatever happens with Rotherham it won’t affect us for Tuesday.

“We will just go to prepare to win.

“The journey gives us plenty of time to prepare to look forward to Tuesday.

“We will look at how we can hurt Blackburn on and what’s the best team to do that. “

Harris could alter his line up slightly to add some fresh legs into his side, but has given an update on two players who missed out on the draw at the weekend.

“Shaun Williams won’t play again this season for us, which is a big loss.

“Shaun Cummings is having intensive treatment too.

“Whether he can be available this week we’re not sure, but it is unlikely.”
