Interim Millwall manager Neil Harris says he isn’t aware of any Celtic interest in Alan Dunne after a national newspaper suggested the veteran defender was on his way north of the border.
Dunne is in the Lions squad for tomorrow’s derby meeting with Charlton at The Den but yesterday was linked with both the Scottish champions and Chris Powell’s Huddersfield Town.
However, Lions chief Harris was surprised when informed of the story this morning.
“It is news to me,” he admitted.
“Dunney is a top pro and has been a consistent performer for Millwall for the last 14 years.
“He is out of contract in the summer so of course there is going to be interest in him, but we will worry about that later.
“My focus is solely on Charlton tomorrow and picking a squad which is ready for a big derby fixture.”
