Bromley returned to winning ways as they enhanced their title aspirations with a resounding 5-0 victory over strugglers Farnborough at Hayes Lane.

Three second half goals in the space of eight minutes just past the hour mark did the damage from which there was no way back for the visitors.

Ali Fuseini’s second minute volley took a deflection which carried it away from the intended target before former Bromley striker Jordan Robertson, had two good chances to put Farnborough ahead.

His first effort was deflected, while his second went through a crowd of players before flying inches wide of the far post.

Moses Adeomla shot over when well placed and Jamie Slabber’s header was saved by visiting keeper Magnus Norman before Bromley opened the scoring on 41 minutes.

Rob Swaine’s long pass from the halfway line into the penalty area was brilliantly brought under control by Ademola before swivelling to roll the ball home from ten yards.

Swaine nearly became the villain one minute before the interval, as two mistakes presented another former Bromley player Harry Grant with a good chance.

But the captain’s blushes were spared by keeper Alan Julian who made a good close range block.

The visitors opened the second half strongly and Courtney Fearn’s header went narrowly wide.

But the introduction of Danny Waldren in the 59th minute proved profitable, as with his first touch he set up Jack Holland to double Bromley’s lead.

Louis Dennis was upended on the byline and Joe Anderson’s free-kick was headed back across goal by Waldren for Holland to out-jump his marker and head home from six yards.

Another free-kick from Ugo Udoji on 66 minutes was also flicked on by Ademola and Slabber nipped in behind his marker to head home for goal number three.

Two minutes later it was 4-0.

Reece Prestedge put a cross from the right into the path of Slabber, who despite looking suspiciously offside, was able to wrong-foot Norman.

Substitute Stephane Ngamvoulou was denied by the legs of Julian following a flowing movement by the visitors, but Bromley completed the rout with four minutes remaining.

Bradley Goldberg fastened onto a clearance out of defence to outpace Darryl Siaw and take the ball around Norman before slotting home into an empty net.
