George Tucudean has moved on loan to Steaua Bucharest until the end of next season.
"I knew about my interest in transfer since last year and I think it is a step forward in my career," Tucudean told the club's official website.
"I want to win trophies."
The striker arrived at Charlton from Standard Liege in the summer, signing a three-year contract, but his impact at the club has so far been minimal and the arrival of Tony Watt, also from Liege, has pushed him further down the strikers' pecking order.
Igor Vetokele, Callum Harriott and Simon Church are also all vying for selection up front.
