Ian Holloway insisted he "would die for" Millwall chairman John Berylson as he bids to overhaul the club's form.
Berylson has given Holloway his backing despite the poor form that has left Millwall in the Championship's relegation zone.
"What I've achieved in the past I'd love to do for him [Millwall chairman John Berylson]," Holloway said.
"If anyone sits there and says 'John Berylson's not helping', it's absolute nonsense.
"He's the owner I've wanted for years. And he's the owner I would die for. And if he ends up killing me with his sword then it'll be respectful, it'll be right and it'll be done correctly, and I would have deserved it 'cause I'd have let him down, at least in one year's time."
