Star striker Igor Vetokele should be available to play against Rotherham on Saturday after suffering a late injury in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Wolves.
Charlton’s goal machine was in obvious distress after an accidental late collision with visiting keeper Carl Ikeme.
But fears he might have broken his arm have quickly been dispelled, meaning the 22-year-old is in contention to start this weekend’s game in Yorkshire.
Head coach Bob Peeters confirmed this lunchtime: “Yesterday he went for an X-ray.
“There was nothing broken, it was just a little flesh wound.
“Because the goalkeeper stepped on his arm I think a nerve was blocked but as it stands now I think he will be able to play.”
