Midfielder has Welling contract cancelled by mutual consent
Updated 1:02pm Wednesday 11th June 2014 in Sport
Welling’s summer recruitment problems continue after Matthew Harriott became the latest player to change his mind about playing for the Conference outfit next season.
The former Sheffield United Northampton Town midfielder only joined recently but is now looking for a new club after he and the Wings agreed to cancel his current deal by mutual consent.
Meanwhile, striker Ross Lafayette, who last week also had a change of heart about representing the Park View Road team in 2014-15, has this morning officially completed a move to newly-promoted League Two side Luton Town.
