Last season's SLKPA champions O'Connors gained revenge for their cup final at the hands of Bellegrove with a 3-0 sets (10-5 frames) victory over the side which finished runners-up last time out.

Tony Halpin started well for Bellegrove, winning the first frame but James Sheed equalised with the first of his three frame wins.

Micky Clayton then put O'Connors ahead but Kevin Smith equalised before Jordan O'Connor won the first set for his team.

Bellegrove should have took the second set, after winning the first two frames but O'Connors won the next three to take a two set lead.

The first two frames of the final set were shared but O'Connors took the last three frames to win the match and hit the top of the table.

Eltham Terrace Club A joined O'Connors on seven points at the top with a convincing 3-0 and 11-4 win over North Heath Social Club, who remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

The result never really looked in any doubt with Eltham Terrace winning the first two sets 4-1 and went on to win the final set 3-2, with Captain Ron Brown securing it with his second frame win of the night.

Also on two out of two for the night was Dan Foley, Shane Hutley and Sean O'Connor on his debut.

Initial league leaders, Rileys Rebels dropped to third after going down 2-1 and 9-6 to Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats.

The Rugrats took an early 4-0 lead but the Rebels rallied round and steadied the ship, eventually winning the final set 3-2, after losing the second set by the same score.

New recruit Stacy Redman was Rebels rock that the fightback was based on, as he won all three of his frames, while Danny Kelliher won two of his three frames for Rugrats with one being a break and dish.

Pickwick recovered from their first week loss by beating Royal Oak 3-0 and 9-6.

Paul Gafa was somewhat fortuitous with his three frame wins amongst a solid Pickwick performance.

Each match in SLKPA Tier Two East was won by three sets to nil, although there was differing frame scores.

Eltham Terrace Nuthouse couldn't back up their big win from last week going down 3-0 and 10-5 to Bellegrove Social Club B, who lost last week.

Ben McIntosh performed a break and dish in the second frame for Nuthouse but everything seemed to go wrong after that as Bellegrove went on to win the set 3-2.

John Ufuoma won the first of his two frames at the beginning of the second set, with Terry Mitchell putting them two up in the set but Nuthouse equalised before Sirhat Bulbul won the set for Bellegrove.

Mitchell started the final set with his third win of the night and Ufuoma made it 2-0, Stephen Frampton pulled one back but Tony Hodsdon secured the set with an outrageous double that was hit with such pace it really shouldn't have gone in and John Skuza won the final frame for a 4-1 set victory.

O'Dowds Flyers hit the top spot with a 3-0 and 11-4 win over Glenmore Arms II.

The first two sets were hard fought and relatively close with the Flyers just edging them by three frames to two but they flew away in the final set, taking it 5-0.

New boy Jon Syta won all three of his frames and Jasper Bacon and Connor Hewson were just behind on two wins each.

Glenmore Arms A side had better fortune, beating White Hart by 3-0 in sets and 11-4 in frames.

Last week's top performer, Dean Geary-Parr was unavailable but Glenmore didn't need him as they won the first and third set 4-1, with David Holpin and Paul Thomas securing them, and the second 3-2 with James Grant winning the odd frame.

Thomas and Grant both went on to win all three of their frames and they were joined by Dean Coppen.

Alan Rothwell and Ian Cruwys had their own personal battle as they were drawn against each other in all three sets, with Cruwys getting the upper hand in the first two sets but Rothwell played a great frame to pull one back in the final set.

In SLKPA Tier Two West, Pickwick Academicals picked themselves up after last weeks humiliation to beat O'Dowds A 2-1 and 11-4.

Alan Dolan won the first frame for O'Dowds but Academicals went on to win the next nine frames to take the first two sets.

In the final set Dolan again won the first frame but this time they fared better with Neil Shelton and Clive Forrest winning frames to take the set 3-2.

Jason Levingbird was man of the match for Academicals, winning all three of his frames and he was backed  up by Gary Mason, who was solid in his two frame wins, Chris Bracey, playing two good tactical frames for his two victories and Dean Williams, who also won two out of two with an excellent clearance in his second frame.

Chris Unwin almost gave Eltham terrace Rack Pack the perfect start against Lord Clyde, by potting all his yellows on his first visit from the break but jawed the black to miss out on his first break and dish.

Rack Pack went on to win the match 2-1 and 9-6 for their second victory of the season.

Despite the  loss, Sam Mossom came away with some credit for Lord Clyde by winning all three of his frames.

Also winning their second match of the season was Eltham Terrace Rovers, who go top of the table courtesy of their 3-0 and 11-4 win over Royal Oak Addicks.

Rovers won the first set 4-1 and the second set 3-2, with Darren Porter, luckily and Rob Hearn, in great form, both taking a frame in each set.

Ryan Francis won the first frame of the final set before Porter and Hearn recorded back to back 7-ballers, with great clearances for their hat tricks.

Lee Osborn won the penultimate and his only frame to make the set score 4-0 but Colin Smith won the final frame for the Addicks, his third of the night.
