Crystal Palace midfielder Yannick Bolasie is looking forward to playing a major role in the Premier League title race.

Both Liverpool and Manchester City are yet to visit Selhurst Park and neither will be taking anything for granted after Palace recorded a fifth consecutive win at West Ham on Saturday.

Bolasie played a big part in an impressive team display at Upton Park, and the 24-year-old is keen to take that form into the final games.

“People might think we will take our foot off the gas but we haven’t,” he said.

“We’ve got two big games now, playing in front of our crowd and creating a bit of an upset hopefully.

“Everyone is looking forward to playing Man City because they just about beat us up there, with Joe Hart making some great saves.”

He added: “But I’d have to go with Liverpool to win the league.

“They’ve got some really good momentum, so I’m sure our defence will be looking forward to playing against them and prove a couple of people wrong.”

Captain Mile Jedinak scored his first goal of the season from the spot as Tony Pulis’ team outworked and outclassed the lacklustre Hammers yesterday.

The Eagles are now mathematically safe from relegation and their pacy winger believes they can look up the table to see just how high they can finish.

“I don’t see why we can’t make the top half now,” Bolasie said.

“The sky is the limit for us right now. The way the boys have been playing it is definitely achievable.

“The job the gaffer has done has been great, giving us confidence and helping us to play as a unit.”

Palace are one point behind 10th-placed Stoke going into the final three games of the season.
