Isio Orogun set a new Dartford Harriers club record of 25.28s in her heat before going on to take gold in the U17 women’s 200m final at the Kent indoor championships.

There was double joy for the youngster, who also set a personal best of 7.86s on her way to claiming gold in the 60m race.

Fellow Harrier Immanuela Aliu was also in top form in the U15 girls’ 200m, winning the final in a new club record time of 26.24s.

Aliu also took bronze in the 60m in 8.02s, her second club record of the weekend.

There was also an all-time championship record for Sam Coombes, defending his senior men’s 1,500m title in a time of 4m01.62s.

Coombes also took bronze in the senior men’s 800m.

Thomas Howlett took home two gold medals in the U20 men’s age group in the high jump (1.90m) and long jump (6.21m).

His versatility was underlined by also taking silver in the shot putt (13.08m) and the 60m hurdles (8.80s).

Other gold medallists for Dartford included Alex Atkins, who won the U20 men’s 200m in a personal best time of 22.85s before making the final of the 400m where he finished fifth.

Dereck Aguma also took home gold by winning the U17 men’s 200m with a personal best in the final of 23.05s.

Joseph Idem won gold in the U15 boys’ high jump with a personal best clearance at 1.59m.

Oliver Hussey dominated the U17 men’s shot putt, winning with a throw of 12.49m, while Naomi Orogun won gold in the U20 women’s 400m with a time of 63.63s.
