In the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Division One, league leaders Eltham Terrace Rack Pack played bottom team Fox under the Hill and it was the Foxes who outsmarted their opponents and came away with an 8-7 victory.

Captain Sam Mossom, who chalked up two out of three frames, led them to only their second win of the season.

Rack Pack’s loss and O’Dowds B’s victory over the Summerfield means that O’Dowds take over top spot by two points.

Summerfield did well to get six frames in the 9-6 defeat, as they were a man short, with Shailash Vekaria the beneficiary, picking up all three of the frames given to O’Dowds.

Also, winning three frames for O’Dowds was Richard Chapman but he needed to use his cue in all three.

Third placed Pickwick Academicals battled back from 4-1 down against second bottom Glenmore Arms II to win the match 9-6.

Billy Levingbird led the charge winning all three of his frames to help his team keep their position in the table.

O’Dowds A dragged themselves from their sick beds to face Royal Oak Addicks and it showed as they went down to a 10-5 defeat.

Neil Shelton won the first frame for O’Dowds but the Addicks went on to win the next four to take the set.

Alan Dolan pulled one back but Royal Oak went into a 7-3 lead before Clive Forrest got another for O’Dowds.

The final set started like the previous two, with an O’Dowds win but Addicks Captain, Ben O’Brien sealed the victory in the twelfth frame and his brother Lee and Michael Kent completed the win, with their third frame wins of the night.

As a result of their 10-5 triumph over White Hart, Bellegrove Social Club B go above O’Dowds A by one point.

John Ufuoma helped Bellegrove get back to winning ways with yet another three wins out of three.

Most teams only have two matches left and it’s all to play for as only sixteen points separate the top seven teams.

Rileys Rebels lift themselves out of the bottom three of the SLKPA Premier Division with a narrow 8-7 victory over North Heath Social Club.

It was a hard fought match that swung either way with North Heath taking an early 4-2 lead but Rebels won the next four frames to go 6-4 in front, before North Heath reeled off the next three, putting them one ahead.

Rebels took the penultimate frame to tie the match and take it to a final frame decider, which they went on to win.

Barry Barham won all three of his frames again for the Rebels to go six unbeaten.

Summerfield Nuthouse took Pickwick right to the wire and perhaps should have won considering they were ahead right up to the final frame.

The Nuthouse won the first two frames, including a break and dish by Ben McIntosh but only took the first set 3-2.

Shane O’Reilly made it four but Ash Hall reduced the deficit to one again with the first of his two wins before McIntosh won again, Dave Sparey made it 6-3 and George Hammond brought it back to 6-4.

The first two frames of the final set were shared, with Sparey getting his second win of the night to leave the Nuthouse only needing one frame from the next three for victory.

Pickwick Captain, Paul Slater pulled one back then Gary Dixon another before Hammond stole the victory with his third frame of the evening, making the final score 8-7 in Pickwick’s favour.

Staying at the bottom and Rileys Rovers dragged Glenmore Arms A into the relegation dogfight with an 11-4 win.

Rovers were in great form, winning the first set 3-2 and the other two sets 4-1 to keep their hopes of staying in the Premiership alive.

Darren Porter started and finished the rout by taking the first and last frame, which was a 7-baller, along with another in the second set for his hat trick and Steven Reed joined him on three out of three, which included some excellent positional play to beat James Grant not once but twice.

Also unbeaten for Rovers was Lee Osborn, who finally found some form to win both of his frames.

This win puts Rovers just seven points behind Glenmore in the play off place and only eleven points separate Rovers in tenth and North Heath in sixth.

O’Connors stretch their lead at the top to sixteen points after beating third placed Bellegrove Social Club A 11-4.

Rileys Woolwich stay in second with an 8-7 victory over Foots Cray Social Club.

It was a close run thing all the way through as Woolwich won the first two sets 3-2 and Foots Cray took the final set by the same score line.

Foots Cray’s Andre Cox fought hard for his two frame wins, which included a 7-baller but Rileys’ Tony Halpin and Craig Mallinder went one better, both winning all three of their frames.
